I have been drawing caricatures at parties for over 30 years. For your next very important event kick your party up a notch ! My caricature portraits make memorable keepsakes, and party gifts for your guests. I've entertained for: birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, company parties, grand openings, 'mitzvahs, holiday events, sweet-sixteen parties, family reunions, fund-raisers, or any kind of event you may have. I look forward to making your party a very memorable occasion with the gift of a caricature portrait for your friends, relatives, and employees.
I have been a professional caricature portrait artist since I was seventeen when I began drawing caricatures of shoppers at an indoor mall in Eugene, Oregon to help pay for my education at the University of Oregon, where I received a Bachelors of Fine Art in Printmaking. Since that time, I have drawn over 250,000 people from around the world.
After graduation, I continued to draw caricatures in San Francisco and Seattle. I was also a commercial artist illustrating for books, newspaper, and magazines, and a wide variety of clients. When I was living in Seattle creating artwork for T-Shirts that were sold nationally, I met the love of my life and moved to the Santa Barbara area where I've been drawing caricatures and illustrating ever since. A few of my clients have included: MTV ( when I drew the cast of The 70's House for one of their episodes), Disney, Universal Studios, 20th Century Fox, Jon Peters, producer/director ("Rain Man", "the Wild Wild West," "Superman Lives, Superman Returns and Man of Steel" ) , actress Jane Fonda, and actor/ director Tim Mathison.
Every Sunday, year 'round, I can be found drawing caricatures at the Santa Barbara Arts and Crafts Show on Cabrillo Blvd, by the ocean, between 10am and dusk. I hope to see you there!
